Cozy In-Home Family Photos in New Orleans | A Slow Morning at Home

There is something special about photographing a family exactly where life happens.

Not in a perfectly curated location. Not during a rushed evening between errands and bedtime. Just at home, where little feet run across hardwood floors, favorite toys are scattered throughout the living room, and parents spend their days creating memories they often don’t realize they’ll miss someday.

This in-home family session in New Orleans was a beautiful reminder of why I love documenting families in their own space.

The morning unfolded slowly. There was no pressure to perform for the camera. Instead, we focused on what mattered most, being together.
